Automated three-axis CNC production cell An isometric monochrome wireframe of an enclosed CNC mill with sliding doors, T-slot table, clamped workpiece, column, spindle, toolholder and end mill. A FANUC-style articulated industrial robot transfers billets from a raw-stock pallet into the machine and stacks finished parts on a separate pallet. A nearby inspection bench holds calipers, a micrometer, gauge blocks and a height gauge.         CELL / 02AUTOMATED INSPECTION
        Robotic coordinate measuring cell An isometric robot takes a machined part from a roller conveyor and places it on the granite bed of a coordinate measuring machine. The bridge travels in X, the headstock slides in Y, and a vertical Z probe touches the part twice. The probe retracts and the bridge parks clear. The robot transfers the inspected part to a waiting small flatbed delivery truck, which drives away and returns empty. The 32-second cycle repeats.
